Replacing an MS390?
Cisco lists the MS390 series as end of sale from 28 March 2025, with support ending 28 March 2032. Existing installations may still be supported; plan the replacement around your port speeds, power, uplinks, stacking and current licensing model. Confirm the migration and compatible accessories before ordering.

Choose your Catalyst 9300-M switch
The C9300-48T-M is a data-only candidate for an MS390-48-HW replacement. Choose C9300-48P-M when connected devices need PoE+, or C9300-48UXM-M when multigigabit connectivity and UPoE suit the project. The exact replacement depends on the deployment; a catalogue listing does not confirm supplier stock or delivery time.
Uplinks, licensing and project requirements
Check uplink speeds, optics, stacking connections and power supplies with the selected model. For example, the C9300-NM-8X-M uplink module provides eight 10GE ports; confirm compatibility and the required transceivers in your quote.
